A Web Designer is required based at our offices in Carlisle, Cumbria. Candidates can expect a comppetitive salary and benefits.
Candidates will have a proven track record in Web Design and will be expected to provide a portfolio of work which they have been fully responsible for. They will be able to demonstrate their creative flair, and ability to produce fully valid and cross browser compatible HTML and CSS.
Key skills
• HTML and CSS – ability to hand code and work to web standards.
• Adobe Creative Suite. Minimum requirements – Photoshop and Dreamweaver
• Strong graphic design skills
• Basic understanding of SEO
• Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and how to resolve them
• Ability to work to tight deadlines & manage multiple projects/customers simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills and confident telephone manner
• Ability to work as part of a team
