Over the last few years, Google has been pushing for two main things.
– Mobile friendly websites, which are websites that look good and format correctly on all devices such as iphones, ipads, as well as PC’s and Mac’s.
– Secure websites, which are websites that run on the secure protocol https:// historically referred to as a padlock on your website.
This is most prominently shown when visitors are using the Firefox browser, although this is still show as an insecure connection on Internet Explorer and Google Chrome browsers:-
To remedy this error or warning, you have to put your website onto a SSL secure certificate which means you browse to your website as https://www.yourwebsite.co.uk as default.
